If you’re anything like me then you probably don’t get a chance to go shopping on the high street very often. Or you just don’t want to! Convenience, better deals and a much bigger selection make online shopping the way that most of us are buying these days.

With the rise of social media influence, a huge host of women’s fashion sites popped up to fill the gap. Now when you see something you like on Instagram or even your favourite tv show, you are usually only a click away from being able to find out where it’s from and how to buy it.

It’s not really as revolutionary as it seems however. Did your mum or gran have a catalogue in the 90’s? I still remember faithfully flicking through catalogues and writing down the codes for things I wanted so my mum could phone up and order. Online fashion websites are just digitised versions!

Style is something that hasn’t come naturally to me. In my thirties now I feel like I have more confidence and like to explore new looks. Read about what rules you should break after 30, here.

I’m going to walk you through my top women’s fashion websites. So there’s no excuse not to keep your style game strong!

BOOHOO

First up is Boohoo. I admit I struggled with the sizing to begin with and it took a few failed outfit choices before I understood what would work for me.

Fitted items, I definitely have to size up! But I love Boohoo. They have 100 new products drop daily and they really keep up with the trends. They have a lot of shipping options including unlimited next day delivery for only £9.99 a year! Pretty Little Things joined Boohoo in 2016 and Nasty Gal joined in 2017. Amazing new collaboration with Gemma Collins has shot it to the front of the headlines with more women wanting better plus size ranges.

Pros – Low pricing. Good discounts. Great range.  Free returns.

Cons – Sizing is varied. Quality is not always great it can vary a lot – but you get what you pay for!

ASOS

Asos is a weird and wonderful place. To me it’s like the freaky love child of River Island cica 2002 with H&M. For me it has the best selection and ranges out there. Because it carries proper brands such as Miss Selfridge, New Look and Mango it is a real people pleaser. You can’t help but find something that takes your fancy.

Pros – Tells you the models height in the pictures so you can really judge lengths of skirts and shapes of tops (who hasn’t bought a skirt because it looked amazing in the model only to discover the skirt barely covered their modesty because the model was clearly not over 5ft tall?!) Great variety of styles. Latest trends. Great delivery options.

Cons – Because there’s so much on there it’s hard to fiter exactly what you want from the selection on the website. Price is a little higher than some online sites.

P.s I forgot to update my address when I ordered (totally my fault), when I contacted them when my order didn’t arrive they worked out what had happened and resent a new order to me next day delivery for free. The customer service was fantatsic!

MISSGUIDED

I was originally put off by the idea that it was all reality tv fashion. But a few shops on the Missguided website and I was hooked. I don’t even watch Love Island but have a bikini featured in it so it makes this 33 year old feel on trend! It has an interactive fashion blog and a trend section to the website which I love for great tips and advice.

Pros – Styles as seen on TV shows. Keeps up with the fast paced trends. Speciality ranges for diferent sizes and styles for many occasions.

Cons – Some people can be put off by the reality tv connection. So much going on that it can be hard to find what you are looking for – you will find twenty other things you weren’t looking for that you have to have though!

P.s I forgot to add in a promotion code (totalling £13.50 off) when I placed my order so I contacted them and they refunded me the promotion price which I though was fab service!

In The Style

This website is so well set out, great categories so you can get to where you want to be. Some great celebrity collaborations such as Binky and Billie Faiers with some brilliant pieces

Pros – Quality is fantastic. Style is on point. Price is low.

Cons – Some of the collaborarions are a bit random and not really for me. A lot of barely there pieces.

That’s not a typo these boots cost just £5!!!  Some incredible bargains to be had.
